Actually I planned to go to Korea from Japan during my vacation there. I searched cheap flights through skyscanner and found out about this company. It's supposed to be a South Korean low cost company. The price I've seen was accordingly incredibly interesting. So I decided to book and purchase a ticket. The thing is, when it came to payment, it gave me an error. There was no reservation number nor e-ticket, so I assumed (and I was wrong) that there was a failure and tried again. It worked on the second time.
What was not my surprise a few days later when I saw there were 2 deductions of the price ticket!!!
I tried several ways to contact the company:
- send an email? No reply. Didn't get one yet
- try to call them? The line is not connecting about 75% of the time. I had to ask a friend in Korea to contact them. After that I had to call them myself anyway.
- twitter? No reaction either.
When I finally could get through them on the phone, what did I learn? I think this one is really something!
Telling me there is 2 reservations is understandable, but they tell me I can't take the plane with my ticket!!!
Why? Because I got my reservation through skyscanner, eventhough the operation was done on their own website. Seems like there is a bug in their system and skyscanner can get a price you can't get if you go directly on the site.
But what the hell?
1. If I didn't have my double reservations problem, I'd have gone to the airport and wouldn't have been able to take my flight. Do you think it's normal?
2. It seemed I was not the only one person to have this problem when I looked on the internet. If you know there is a bug, why don't you fix it so that other customers don't have to go trough things like that!!!!
3. Well you want to charge me double the price on skyscanner for regular pricing? Don't f*** with me!! You call that a low cost company? Korean Air is much cheaper than you guys!!!
4. Why is Incheon-Tokyo-Incheon 2 times cheaper than Tokyo-Incheon-Tokyo? Do you think Japanese have to pay double for Korean people??? Don't kid with me.
Anyway, I cancelled my flight(s) and I think I should recognize them for one thing: I got my reimbursement quite quickly. But it doesn't make up for the bad experience I have with EastarJet and that I'll never take this company. And of course, it's up to you to decide, but I sincerely advise you not to take this company.

実は、2011年の11月に、韓国へ行ってきました。その時に、イースター航空を予約しようと思いました。チケットの購入の際に、エラーが発生し、予約番号もなかったため、失敗してしまったと勘違いしまいました。それで、もう一回、チケットを購入しました。2度目は、問題ありませんでした。
何日後かに、2度の支払いに気づき、驚きました。
そして、その イースター航空に連絡をしようと思いました。色んな手を使いました。
- メール?返信ありませんので、何かがございましたら、諦めた方がいいです。
- 電話?75%接続できません。韓国にいる友達がいたため、なんとか助かりました。
- ツイッターですごく不満のメッセージを残しましたが、全くのリアクションなし!!せっかくツイッターに登録したのによ・・・
本当に怒っているのは。
- このダブル予約をしなかったら、空港に行って、飛行機に乗れなかったのが、非常識だと思います。
- インターネットで調べたところ、この問題にあった人が数人いました。その問題を知っているのなら、なぜ解決しないんですか?なんで、そっちのミスで客がひどい目に会わなければいけないのか?
- 普通の予約のために、支払いした金額の倍を求められました。それじゃ、どこが安い航空券会社なんだよ!!大韓航空の方がまだ、安いじゃないか!!
- なぜ東京 → ソウル→東京は ソウル→東京 →ソウルの倍の金額をするのか?日本人に韓国人の倍を払わせるつもりか?日本人を馬鹿にしないで下さいよ!!
結局、予約を完全にキャンセルしました。まぁ、返済に問題なかったのは、良かったです。
だが、絶対、二度とその航空会社を使用しませんし、とてもお勧め出来ません。
